How to draw Pokémon Wailmer in 10 steps
What you will need
A pencil
Paper to draw on
Colored pencils
Starting our drawing
Step 1
First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines. We will be erasing this line later so don’t make it too dark. This line will help us to make sure our Wailmer is symmetrical.
Step 2
Next, let’s just start on our Wailmer’s body. Wailmer’s body is mostly a circular shape. The bottom half is slightly wider than the top. Draw the circle so the center of the circle is where all the guidelines meet.
Step 3
Now we will add in the fins. Draw two fins on either side of the body. Draw them above the center horizontal guideline. Draw three lines to show the separation of the fingers on the fins.
Step 4
It is time to add in the mouth. Draw a lower lip and upper lip. The mouth should be centered in the body of your Wailmer. Use our drawing for reference.
Step 5
Our next step is to add the segments inside the mouth. Wailmer has baleen instead of teeth. Draw a series of vertical lines all across the mouth.
Step 6
Now we can add in the eyes. The eyes are two ovals on either side of the head with small circles inside the ovals.
Step 7
Next we can add in the blowholes. There are two small blowholes located on the top of the head. They will be mirrored to each other on either side of the center guideline.
Step 8
We are almost there! Last pieces we need to add are lines to represent the grooves on the bottom of our Wailmer. Draw one center line down the middle and two slightly curved lines on either side of the belly.
Step 9
Now our Wailmer is almost done! We can remove the unnecessary construction lines and the overlapping lines. Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red.
Step 10
We are done with our Wailmer! We can now color away!
