Starting our drawing
- First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines. We will be erasing these lines later so don’t make it too dark. These lines will help us draw Buneary correctly.
- Next, we will draw the basic shape of Buneary’s head. The head is mostly round with the cheek area being a little larger.
- Now we add in Buneary’s face. They eyes are ovals with smaller ovals inside. The nose is a triangle. The bottom of the triangle is where all the guidelines meet. There are two small circles above the eyes.
- Let’s add one of Buneary’s ears! The first ear we will show will be bent over. Show a cloud puff of fur on the top and half an oval underneath.
- Next step is to add the second ear. It doesn’t have to be straight or perfect. We will show ours slightly titled to the left. Show another tuft of cloud fur on top with the ear below.
- Our next step is to add on Buneary’s front paws. Show them coming up to the face. Show three front toes on each foot.
- Now we will add in Buneary’s bottom feet. Show them tilted outward slightly. Again, show three toes on the feet.
- We are almost there! Now we can add in Buneary’s body. Show the cloud tufts of fur all around the body. Show it between all the feet. Use the guidelines for placement.
- Now our Buneary is almost done! We can remove the construction lines and the overlapping lines. Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red. Remember to keep a line from the nose down to the bottom of the head.
- Now we are done! We can now color away!
