How to draw Pokémon Chansey in 10 steps
What you will need
A pencil
Paper to draw on
Colored pencils
Starting our drawing
- First thing first, draw four construction guidelines. One down the center of the page, one horizontal across the middle and two diagonal lines. We will be erasing these lines later so don’t make them too dark. These lines will help us to draw our Chansey accurately.
- Next, let’s just start on the body of Chansey. The body is an egg shape. Use the guidelines for placement. The egg should cover most of the page.
- Now we will add in Chansey’s hair. Show three fingers of hair on either side of the head. Do not worry about overlapping lines at this point. We will remove those later.
- Our next step will be to draw the eyes. Show two ovals on either side of the vertical line. Show two smaller ovals inside the first ovals.
- Mouth is next! Show one curved line on top for the top of the mouth. A second curved line below to show the bottom of the mouth and one more curved line inside to show the tongue.
- We will continue by adding in the hands! Place the hands on either side of the vertical line. They will be just higher than the horizontal line.
- Now we can add in the feet. Show them on the bottom of the body. Show them symmetrically placed on either side of the vertical guideline.
- We are almost there! Now we just add in Chansey’s egg and egg pouch. The pouch will be slightly larger on the sides than the egg.
- Now our Chansey is almost done! We can remove the unnecessary construction lines and the overlapping lines. Our drawing has the lines we are removing as red.
- Now we are done! We can now color away!
